Prague tourism focuses on creating a sustainable atmosphere which will not affect the services in the future. Since tourists are resuming the activities, it is the management or the authorities’ mandate to ensure the sector’s activities’ sustainability. Some of the ways that Prague tourism does to attain sustainability in this time of crisis include:

  • Police and the Prague city government works to collaborate towards ensuring that the policies implemented are achieved. Tourists or persons approaching the city have to ensure that they have to adhere to the COVID-19 rules.
  • Another plan is to create a balance between visiting the historical monuments and other tourist areas (CTK, 2020). The priority would go to the locals to help them break the monotony for not attending the outdoor events.
  • The Prague City management aims at improving the communication between the entrepreneurs and the locals since they are the critical potential for recovery business in tourism. I.e. locals will provide immediate customers when international travel is banned.
  • Prague tourism also aims to enhance communication with their tourists, which will make it easier to explain the rules and guidelines the visitors are expected to follow.
  • Finally, the Prague tourism authorities plan to implement and create other facilities outside of Prague city’s overcrowded towns and parts. The attention of the tourists is diverted to less populated regions (CTK, 2020). For example, introducing culture and sports in different parts of the town will attract tourists towards those sides.
